And not only quality – many hand knitters are concerned about the environment.
Cornish Organic Wool has introduced the first Organic Wool not only to be farmed with Soil Association accreditation or Organic Farmers & Growers (OF&G) certification but also spun at the only Soil Association accredited spinning mill in the county, which is based in Launceston in Cornwall. As the whole process takes place in Cornwall it leaves only a small 'eco footprint'. Cornish Organic wool has 'Made in Cornwall' status and comes in 100g skeins.
The description for each yarn includes information on the size of the ball or skein, recommended needle size, metre-age and ‘tension square’ dimensions.
We also stock bamboo needles and the Clover Soft Touch crochet hooks.
We are happy to keep yarns aside for up to 1 month. If you wish to order only part of the quantity you need and would like to order the balance later please use the "Any Extra Details" section of the order form to specify how many balls/skeins you would like kept aside for you to order later.
